The Final Day is a retro parody game of the end of the world, in the game people believe that the Mayas, Nostradamus and others said that the end of the world will be in December 2012 a.c., that is why the humankind has built a ship (The Defender) which you have to lead to defend the humans against a meteor rain.
Protect the humans and destroy the meteors is the main goal, if you can do that for 24 hours you will save the world and demonstrate the Mayas, Nostradamus and others were wrong.
